You know when you read something or someone says something and you think, Huh, I never thought of it that way before, and it creates a new or deeper awareness that shifts your perspective on life? That happened to me (again) last week as I channelled the upcoming message for the Life Mastery Membership.

Our topic for January 2024 is New Year, New You. The Soul Collective said,

"You don’t have inspirations for things that will put you on a path of sorrow. You have inspirations for things that will bring you more joy."

I'd never thought about it like that before. Have you?

If that's true (and it feels true to me), why don't we pay more attention to our inspirations?

Why do we dismiss them far more than follow them?

Because...

  1. You've learned to trust your head far more than any other guidance system available to you (heart, gut, stomach, instincts, intuition, inner knowing...), including the opinions and judgements of others.
    ..
  2. Your mind, brilliant at so many things, fears change. Inspiration is a spark it quickly wants to douse before it catches hold and you start to stoke the flame. .
    .
  3. You may not have an example in your life of someone who looks like you doing what you're inspired to do, so you believe it's not possible for you or anyone else. .
  4. You don't believe in yourself. You may have tried things before that didn't work out as you'd hoped, and you don't want to feel that way again. And your inside voice (ego) won't let you forget it..

Inspiration isn't about right or wrong, success or failure, goals or targets. It's not about knowing the outcome before you begin.

Inspiration is about creativity, innovation, ingenuity, and originality, all of which help you grow and expand. It's about following your curiosity for the wonderment of where it may lead. It's about trusting your inner guidance and knowing it will never steer you wrong.

Where might your next inspiration take you?

This week, I invite you to be open to inspiration and notice how you react to it. Do you fan the spark or quickly snuff it out?

I'm here to help you believe in yourself and create an inspired life. Let's chat.
