Today, February 14th – the day we celebrate love – don’t only think about those you love but what you love.

What do you love to do?
What do you love to eat?
What do you love to experience?
What music do you love to listen to?
What smell do you love? Coffee? Flowers? Freshly baked bread?
What do you love to do when you have a day to yourself or gift yourself with time?

I’m a big believer in filling yourself with love. Only you know what makes you truly happy. Only you know what fills your heart and excites your Soul.

And the bonus is when you’re filled with love, you have more love to give.

If, however, to feel loved, you need another to show or prove their love for you, they may not meet or maintain your expectations, which can make you feel worse about yourself or your relationship. And if you’re not in a relationship, not being in one can send you down a rabbit hole of feeling unloveable and unworthy. In these scenarios, you’re in the role of a victim. You can only see what’s not there or not packaged the way you think it should arrive.

However, when you make loving yourself YOUR job, you stand in your power. Loving yourself is a priority. When you love yourself, you feel loved and lovable. You know you are worthy. You look through the eyes of love and see all there is to love in your life and your world. You don’t need another to show you you are worthy of being loved because you know in your heart and Soul that love is who you are at your core. And so is everyone else.

Imagine if everyone knew they were made of love and didn’t seek it from anyone else as means of feeling complete. We already felt whole. Instead, we sought love from another as a means of expanding the love we already are, which expands the love we have to give; each of us a little cupid shooting our arrows of love at each other, playing with playmates in the playground of love.

This Valentine’s Day, I invite you to love the perfection that you are. Look in the mirror, blow yourself a kiss, and say, “Happy Valentine’s Day, Sweetheart,” then do the same to every person you meet. (Feel free to say it in your head if you don’t know the person.)

Notice how it feels to share the power of love.

Happy Valentine’s Day, Sweetheart. 💋 I love that you’re part of my community. ❤️

Connecting with my heart reunited me with my Soul’s voice. What began as brief Love Notes From Your Soul gradually became longer and more profound. Love letters, you might say. Each message offers a higher perspective and helps me let go of fears and limiting beliefs to create a life beyond what I once dreamed possible. Now I want to share this wisdom with you so you, too, can shift from worry, doubt, and regret and feel the freedom and joy of a heart-led, soul-aligned life.
