Are you in the midst of a new life chapter? Are you ready to create a new one?
Is this next stage by choice or by chance? By that I mean, was it your idea to turn the page or was it thrust upon you (i.e. a divorce, death of a loved one, job loss or retirement)?
Change can be both exciting and scary. Fun and frustrating. Met equally with eager anticipation and doubt and dread.
Take a moment and tune into where you are in your life right now and how you feel about it.
Now tune into where you’d like to end up. Where would you like to see yourself?
We struggle when we can’t see or find the path from here to there.
We wish we had a crystal ball that showed us the yellow brick road as well as the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. THEN we’d trust we could get there.
Without that crystal ball, fear sets in.
We make the journey harder than it needs to be by resisting change.
However, we can make it easier on ourselves by accepting and allowing change.
Change is inevitable. Without it nothing would change.
You wouldn’t grow. You wouldn’t learn. You wouldn’t have experiences.
You’re not meant to stay stagnant.
The only thing that stands between where you are now and where you’d like to be, or where you’d rather be, is a decision to take the first or next step.
Let your heart be your compass. And if and when you make a misstep, you’ll always be guided back on course.
I invite you to ponder this question:
Are you ready to follow your heart and take the first or next step toward your vision, or are you willing to stay where you are a little longer?
If you’re unsure, tune into your heart and ask it what it wants for you.
If you’d like some help, I’m here for you. Shoot me an email and let’s have a chat.
If you’re ready to start listening to and trusting the whispers of your heart but aren’t sure how to begin or you’d like some guidance, I invite you to take my on-demand course called, Write To Your Heart. It will help set you on the path to a heartfully happy life. To learn more, click here.
