As we begin and settle into this New Year, set aside your past experiences and feelings of lack and limitation. Perhaps things haven’t worked out for you in the past. That was the past. Perhaps things did work out for you. That was the past too.
Every experience you’ve had has offered you information from which you can draw to create this day, this year, and years to come.
Let your past experiences guide you. What did you like and not like? What did you enjoy and now want more of? What did you not enjoy and are ready to let go of from your ongoing experience?
Life is a series of choices which create the reality you call real life. And the reality is your reality can be anything you choose.
Many people like to select a word to help them focus more on what they want in the upcoming year. What’s your word? Don’t limit yourself to one. You may want to choose a different word for each area of your life or a few words for each. The choice is yours.
The intention is to select a word that allows you to grow toward what you most desire to experience.
What word or words first pop into your mind? Write them down. Once you have a short list, feel into which ones have the most energy behind them. Which are the ones that really express your desire?
Let the words simmer for a few days or weeks, and revisit them often until you’ve found words that feel right in your body.
This is just one way to magnify the energy around you and tune your focus toward creating the reality you desire.
You can do this. I’m here for you if you need help along the way.
