Fear: There’s definitely a place for fear in your life. It can be a warning of imminent danger, offering the impetus to act.

Fear works against you, though, when it sabotages a desire. You might really want something but you let your timid ego run the show.

Your ego’s job is to keep you safe. It doesn’t like you to take chances or make waves. It’s comfy where you are. Good or bad, it knows what to expect. It wants you to live within its parameters — its comfort zone. Your ego is head-driven and tries to rationalize and justify why you shouldn’t do what you want to do. It’ll throw every argument and reason it can think of to keep you where you are, even pulling the smallest examples of past failures as proof of its “better judgement”.

…and judgement is all it is.

Your heart, on the other hand, is connected with your soul.

Your heart feels. And though it doesn’t “think” it has a wisdom your brain will never have.

Your heart knows you’ve been hurt in the past…and only wants what’s best for you now and in the future.

Your heart knows when you want something more, better or different…and will help you find the way.

Your heart knows you’ve made mistakes…and loves you anyway because it knows there are no mistakes; just lessons that helped you grow.

Your heart knows it’s not too late, you’re not too old, you’re not too fat, you’re not too thin, you’re not too poor…you are perfect and exactly who you’re meant to be. And it knows that whenever you choose to do whatever you choose to do, it will be the perfect time for you.

No judgement. Just unconditional love.

Your heart knows that when you’re ready, you’ll find the courage…and if you listen closely, it will help you find the answers you need.

When you trust your heart, there’s nothing to fear.

When it feels right, here are three ways you and I can work together.
