What I know for sure is that following my inner guidance is WAAAAY easier and much more successful than using my head to figure out what to do next.
When I only use my head, I get confused. There are too many options to consider, each with its own off-ramp leading to a different scenario: some good, some not, some interesting, and some boring. My ego voice perks up, critiquing and criticizing every life choice I’ve e-v-e-r made (and not made!). In my confusion, I turn to others for advice. These well-meaning friends and loved ones put in their two cents, but I don’t often feel any richer. Instead, their advice leads me to re-think options I’ve rejected, or I believe that what they think is best for me actually is best for me, which sends me off on a tangent, wasting more time or money until I come around to the same place I started, no better off, more confused than before and ready to give up. Can you relate?
I’ve learned that when I get quiet and tune into my inner voice, trust its guidance and act on that, EVERYTHING falls into place with ease.
That’s what I want for you.
I want you to feel the freedom and joy that comes when your choices are easier and feel better because they align with who you ARE, not other people’s vision for or interpretation of you or a persona you’ve created that no longer fits or never felt quite right.
Breathe that in. Wouldn’t that feel great?!
I want you to get to a place where you can hear your Soul’s voice, be able to, without a doubt, differentiate it from your noisy, confusing, often negative thoughts, and (this is the hard part) TRUST and FOLLOW its guidance wholeheartedly, without second-guessing yourself.
The dreams in your heart were put there by your Soul. So, when you can hear, trust and follow your Soul’s guidance, your choices lead you toward fulfilling those desires. And every step you take feels good because each aligns with your Soul (rather than willy-nilly choices from your uncertain head). Before you know it, you’ve created the life you’ve always envisioned — or better, because your Soul has a bigger dream for you than you can imagine. What’s better than that?!
