When life’s going smoothly, it’s easy to agree that life happens FOR you, not TO you.

But what about when you’re feeling overwhelmed; when there’s so much on your list that you can’t seem to get it all done? The list keeps growing and no matter how hard you work, how much you do, how many hours you put in…there’s still more to do.

Life doesn’t just feel like it’s happening TO you, it feels like it’s sticking it to you!

How can you release some anxiety in order to regain some balance?

5 1/2 Questions To Ask When You’re Feeling Overwhelmed:

Get quiet, tune into your heart and ask yourself these questions:

1. How would it feel to let go of the feeling that I need to do it all?

2a. How can I make this easier? What, specifically, can I release the need to solve or control and let someone else do or allow the Universe to find a solution for me?

2b. What really needs to get done by me (really) — today, tomorrow, this week?

3. Who can I ask for help?

4. What feels right for me, right now, in this moment?

5. What do I know to be true?

Overwhelm comes when you feel the need to do it all, and do it by yourself. Add in a deadline and you ‘up’ the anxiety.

Life really does happens for you. There are learning opportunities at every step…and you’re not meant to go it alone.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the state of the world or your corner of it, I hope these questions help you open your heart and find the guidance you need.
