Your Soul knows who you are and all you desire. It also knows how you, specifically, hold yourself back. It knows all you’ve been through — the good and the bad. And it knows how every experience you’ve had (good or bad) has affected how you see yourself, the beliefs you’ve created along the way, and what you believe is possible for you now.
AND your Soul is always sending you signs to help you know you’re not alone, to remember who you were born to be, and, if required, offering ways to course-correct and re-align with a path that will get you where you want to go easier and faster than the path you’re currently on.
3 Signs You’re Being Guided:
1. Ideas and Inspirations:
Ever wake up with an exciting idea, or be in the shower, on a walk, or doing something routine, and a great idea pops into your head? Do you act on the idea, or discount it as stupid, ridiculous, un-doable, or impossible for you?
How about when you’ve been inspired to take a class, reach out to someone, create something, book a holiday, or change a habit? Do you follow through on the inspiration and see it through to completion, or do you let the spark fade and die out?
Ideas and inspirations are like fireflies that briefly light up amid the darkness, so you can’t help but notice and take note.
These are signs your Soul is speaking to you. It’s catching you at moments when your mind is quiet, and when you’re most likely to notice these sparks of guidance.
2. A-ha’s and Eureka’s:
Have you been reading a book or listening to a podcast and suddenly had a light-bulb moment? You see or understand something in a new or different way, giving you clarity or a deeper understanding, often leading you to see something else differently, too. Or the answer to a problem you’ve been ruminating over suddenly appears as if out of the blue.
These a-ha’s and eureka moments come to you when you need them and when you’re not looking for them. It’s in the search for an answer that your awareness is narrow, because you’re looking for answers in all the same places.
A-ha’s and eureka’s are signs your Soul is directing you to solutions that unstick you when you’re stuck and loosen you when you’re constricted. It guides you to find the answers in places you least expect and would never think to look. Your mind is limited. Your Soul is not.
3. Serendipities and Happy Happenstances:
Serendipities, happy happenstances and coincidences sometimes pass us by almost unnoticed because we either don’t think we deserve luck to come our way, or we reason the situation away as weird, odd or a fluke.
The Universe, of which your Soul is a part, is always trying to orchestrate things on your behalf. Like a cosmic drop-ship service, your Soul holds your orders in an energetic shopping cart. The Universe scours for the best opportunities to complete your order, then drops some of them right in front of you as people, timelines, and events line up. It’s your job to recognize these deliveries as what you’ve asked for, because they may not appear like you expected.
When you come to see these unexpected happenings as signs you’re being guided, you see them as further evidence you’re on the right path.
The more you become a conscious observer of your life, the more you become aware of all the ways you’re being guided.
You’ll notice that ideas and inspirations are nudges from your Soul to try something new or in a different way. Notice how each one makes you feel? Is it something that excites you, and maybe scares you a little? Because isn’t that what you’re asking for — a life that feels uplifting, creative, inspiring, new and exciting? One that invites you to grow into more of who you really are?
And while you’re noticing the signs as they come, also notice if, and how fast, you discount them.
How fast do you go from excited to rejection? From WOW to disappointment. From Wahoo! to disbelief. This is a sign your frightened ego and inner child are holding you back. Send them some love and understanding, and ask for their help as you move forward. With them on you’re side, you’re unstoppable!
Your Soul loves you unconditionally and continually offers guidance that’s right for you as you’re ready for it.
