Hi There! My name's Carolin Rathbun.


As a former small-business copywriter, now spiritual channel and life coach, my work has always focused on encouraging people to believe in themselves so they own their value and all they have to offer the world.


In my current work, I guide people to reconnect with their inner truth and trust their inner wisdom. Because when you trust yourself, you have the courage to follow your heart and create the life (and business) you've always dreamed of.

Nahma On Balsam Cafe is a welcoming and cozy historic log home on the shores of Balsam Lake, just minutes west of Fenelon Falls and less than 30 minutes north of Lindsay, in the beautiful Kawartha Lakes region of Ontario.


This 85 year-old gem, still owned by the same family for much of that time, oozes character and comfort, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Whether you prefer to curl up with a hot beverage by the stone fireplace on a cold winter day, or sip an iced drink in the lounge or on the deck enjoying summer lake breezes, Nahma welcomes you in every season.

Nahma offers a variety of hot and cold drinks, local baked goods and snacks, as well as homemade soup and quiche.*

You are welcome and encouraged to purchase a beverage and/or snack to nibble on during either session.

Do I need to bring anything with me?
  • Please bring a journal or notebook and a pen. 
  • If you wish to lie or sit on the floor during the meditation, please bring a mat, blanket or cushion as none will be provided. 
Can I buy a ticket at the door?
Space is limited. While we may be able to accommodate you, availability cannot be guaranteed. If you feel an inner nudge to join, please register in advance. 
Can I bring a friend to the workshop?
Invite as many people as you wish while space remains. Each person in attendance must pay the registration fee.

*If you'd like to bring a group, please email Carolin to confirm there are enough spaces available.
Can I record part or all of the session?
Video and/or audio recording, as well as photography, is strictly prohibited during the workshop, unless expressly agreed upon in advance.
Can I bring food or drink into the venue?

Our host venue is a beautiful cafe on the shores of Balsam Lake. They offer a variety of food & beverage items and cater to dietary restrictions. Feel free to purchase items from the cafe. Otherwise, no outside food or beverages are permitted on the premises.

Is lunch included in the registration?
No, your registration does not include lunch*. Lunch is at your own expense. Nahma On Balsam Cafe offers a selection of delicious and healthy food and beverage items. You will receive a menu prior to our workshop to make your selections. Payment for food and beverages is to be made directly to Nahma. Please ensure to add 13% tax + gratuity. 
If you prefer to go off-site, Fenelon Falls is approximately 15-20 mins away by car. 
*No outside food or beverage items are permitted on site. 
What is your refund policy?
This event takes place on September 19, 2026.
Should the event be cancelled by US, a 100% refund will be issued to the original payment method. 

Should YOU request a refund for any reason, the following policy applies for THIS event: 
Prior to September 5, 2026: 100% refund.
September 5 to September 11, 2026: 50% refund.
September 12 through September 19, 2026: no refunds, all sales final.
